Ginger Cookies

1 1/2 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. ginger

Beat shortening and sugar. Add molasses and eggs. Beat well. Sift in dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Roll into balls and then roll in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
