I checked and couldn't believe that Megg hadn't posted her tortilla soup recipe. This was is so good and perfect to just throw in the crock pot. I have yet to try Tonya's recipe for another tortilla soup, but I will. Soup season has just begun.
3 chicken breasts
2 qt. chicken broth
1 15 oz. corn
1 15 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cilantro
1/2 tsp. garlic, chopped
chopped onions (optional!)
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
salt and pepper to taste
Combine chicken, broth, tomato sauce, and all seasonings to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until chicken is done. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and return to broth. Add corn and stewed tomatoes. Simmer on low for 1/2 hour.
or
Toss into crock pot and come home to a fabulous soup.
Serve with crumbled tortilla chips, grated cheese and diced avocado on top.
Enjoy!

Hey there, I found your blog and I was curious how you can have different people post on your blog. I want to do a family blog where we can all post to the same blog, but I need to know how to share the blog. Would you please clue me in on how you do this? Thanks. I'll just check back here for your response thanks so much!
Just start a new blog and then you can go into your dashboard and add contributors (it will send an invite to them via email). You can have them add as authors or just contributors to the blog. Come back if you have more questions.
mmmm. that sounds so tasty.
i have to say sorry that i have not been contributing any recipes. once i get all my kitchen things and start really cooking again, i promise to post some good stuff. promise.
Thanks Missy! That helped a lot. I was able to get my family blog up and started so thanks again!
